The 2025 FlanGigs, as of February 25

As a longtime guitar picker and part-time vocalist, I'm looking forward to expanding my performances this year.  Since I've been "back in the saddle," so to speak, for the past couple years, every show I've done has had redeeming qualities.  Even the lesser-attended shows give me a chance to work on material and build a relationship with people in the venue, whether they're sitting at the bar or chewing on food, parked at a park bench or listening from a lawn chair 30 yards away. Each gig has had something to enjoy or learn. So, I'm hoping to play more this year, and build on those experiences even more. I've dialed in my sound gear, upgraded my guitar pickups, added a solid backup guitar, learned new material and have developed a pretty solid basis for my shows.
